„Healthy Longevity in the Third Stage of Life – Why AgeTech is Becoming Increasingly Important“
With increasing life expectancy, our later life stages extend, introducing new challenges. Stereotypes and societal pressures that have long shaped this phase are gradually being dismantled. Numerous companies and institutions drive this change by recognizing the opportunities and challenges of demographic change. They develop new technologies and financial products tailored to the needs of the elderly.
This focus aims to enable individuals, even with declining physical and mental health, to lead independent and fulfilling lives for as long as possible. In Margerite, we analyze various products and categorize companies on the Swiss AgeTech Map, covering daily life, finance, health, and housing. We organize conferences and bring healthy longevity and AgeTech-oriented enthusiasts together.
Prevention is recognized as crucial for healthy aging, incorporating exercise, diet, digital literacy, and social participation from an early age. We also explore the benefits of art, which supports emotional well-being and contributes positively to health maintenance.
